Prerequisites: ECON 306 has been listed as a prerequisite for this course in past years, and is strongly recommended, although it is possible that ECON 200 and 201 may suffice.

Method of Evaluation:

Final grades will be based on

 

10% Class participation and discussion and performance on unannounced quizzes.

                                                                        

15%  Midterm Examination 1, scheduled 11:00am -12:15pm,  Tuesday, March 10. Mark this  date in your calendars. No make-up examination will be scheduled.

 

15%  Midterm Examination 2, scheduled 11:00am -12:15pm,  Thursday, April 16. Mark this  date in your calendars. No make-up examination will be scheduled.

 

30% Term Paper, due May 15,  2009, the Friday following  the final exam, no later than 4pm in the  AREC main office, 2200 Symons Hall No late papers will be accepted. Individual assignments will be determined  during class  March 5 or before. Be sure that you are able to print and deliver a hard copy before or on May 15. I will not accept electronic copies.

 

30% Final Examination, at the officially scheduled day and hour: Thursday, May 14, 8-10am. Mark this date in your calendars. No makeup examination will be scheduled.

 

 

 

All students must write out by hand and sign an honor pledge on each and every assignment and examination, which reads:

    "I pledge on my honor that I have not given or received any unauthorized assistance on this assignment/examination."
